About Erin
Erin Burke is a writer and documentarian, specializing in creative nonfiction, journalism, and personal documentaries. They have 4 years of professional experience working in live and post-production video editing for The Center for Global Racial Justice, audio editing for podcast production company Schubes Creations, LLC., reporting for local news organization TAPinto – Raritan Bay, and event photography for Rutgers IDEA. When they’re not being creative, Erin is proudest of their work in customer service, where they spend the day problem solving and smiling at clients. Erin is currently obsessed with Minding the Gap (2018), V.E. Schwab’s Shades of Magic series, “Perdition Days” by Esme Wang, and I Saw the TV Glow (2024). They’re currently an intern at TAPinto - Raritan Bay, working on a collection of personal essays, and making numerous crafts in the evenings after dinner.
